On January 20 in the Capitol Hill of the US, Donald Trump the Elected US President was promulgated as the President of The United States of America. As the new President of the World Super Power, President Donald Trump has demonstrated his leadership as an accurate World Leader even in the such current busy schedule he were ready to take command the US as the influencing State in the World to face any emergency situation in any time on the period of his inauguration.
Only a few hours after the inauguration, in his Oval Office in White House he signed a number of important document that should be implemented since the date of January 20, 2017.
On few days before his inauguration as the Elected President Donald Trump had appointed General (ret) of Marine James Mattis as the Secretary of Defense in his Cabinet and General (Ret) of Marine John Kelly as the Secretary of Homeland Security of the US.
In relation with this two appointment on January 20, 2017 in another building, the Senate approved and promulgated General (Ret) of the Marine James Mattis as the Secretary of Defense and General (Ret) of the Marine John Kelly as the Secretary of Homeland Security of the US.
President Donald Trump soon will visit the CIA Compound to promulgated the new Director of CIA.
The Homeland Security.
The Department of Homeland Security has a vital mission: to secure the nation from the many threats the US faces.
This requires the dedication of more than 240,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, from cyber security analyst to chemical facility inspector.
Those Employee duties are wide-ranging, and our goal is clear - keeping America safe.
The Homeland Security was the integration of 22 function of the Cabinet Institution dealing with the security problems. The Department of the Homeland Security was founded on Non 25, 2002 when President G W Bush after the terrorist attack on two sky scrapers buildings on September 11, 2002 to have been thinking to found an State Institution to coordinate the defense effort to protect the physical security of the US against terrorist action both from abroad and from within the country.
The US concluded it is apparently the terrorist threat coming from within the country are more difficult to be countered because there are many hideout, camouflage and natural conditions that are good for secret movements.
Today, retired Marine Corps General John F. Kelly was officially sworn in as the fifth Secretary of Homeland Security. Secretary Kelly took the oath this evening after the Senate voted to confirm him.
As Secretary of Homeland Security, Kelly now leads the third largest federal department in the United States that includes the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the United States Secret Service.
I am honored and humbled to take on this responsibility to serve alongside the magnificent men and women of the Department of Homeland Security, said Secretary Kelly, and, I look forward to protecting our nation, its citizens, and preserving our liberty and upholding the rule of law as I continue my service to this great country.
I ask for your patience and prayers as I take on this tremendous task together with you, and my only plea is that together we focus our loyalty on the Constitution that we all have sworn to preserve and protect and the nation we love.
Prior to joining DHS, Secretary Kelly served in the United States Marine Corps for 45 years closing his career as the commander of the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in 2016. Secretary Kelly has held senior command positions in Iraq and as the Senior Military Assistant to two Secretaries of Defence.
The Situation in Indonesia.
Though the threat level posed by the terrorist threat in Indonesia have been perfectly controlled at low level, but terrorist threat has been a serious problem to the country.
The potential threat of the ISIS is put as the eminent threat that should be put on the National Agenda to be deleted. Likely we agree with the analysis made by the Government of the US, that the terrotist threat coming from within the country I s more complicated compared to the terrorist coming from abroad. This is considering that the Republic of Indonesia is as large as the territory of the US and the eminent strategic objects are also existing on all over the countries.
Accordingly the idea to copy the foundation of the Homeland Security Ministry in Indonesia.
Until recently on the Cabinet Level it is formed the Coordination Meeting lead by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs to discus all the various security problems happened in this country.
Te decision made by this Coordination Meeting were mostly on the policy matters was considered be necessary.
This system was clearly a simple system of coordination to deal with the policy but definitely full of question on the technical level.
Recently It was suggested to the government to create the National Inspector General to inspect all the Government Branches whether they ready with all the preparation to face any security disturbances against their mission.
It is also might be likely more than 10 Government Institution that are dealing with the security to have been existing in Indonesia that need communication, coordination and integration in dealing with the terrorist threat in Indonesia.
This National Inspector General as the Government Official of a Ministerial level is also intended to coordinate any action might be needed for the security performance of the country.
With the Presidential authority, the National Inspector General is authorize to come, to see and to decide whether or not any strategic Installation to have the enough preparation to face any sudden terrorist attack.
