POLITICATION VISIT OF VIETNAM COMMUNIST PARTY COMMISSIONS, WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

By: Kurniadi

The highest authorities visit in the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam is the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (PKV), Y.M. Nguyen Phu Trong officially to Indonesia took place on 22 s.d 24 August 2017, took place safely and smoothly.

While in Indonesia, the PKV Secretary General also held meetings with leaders of the MPR, DPR and DPD, including speaking at business and academic forums. The secretary general of Nguyen Phu Trong's visit is aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, particularly in the promotion of maritime and fishery cooperation, trade and investment and regional issues. The visit was also followed by 105 people.

It must be admitted that Vietnam is currently one of the countries in Southeast Asia that has the highest economic growth of 6 percent in 2016. Indonesia-Vietnam trade figure reached 6.2 billion US dollars in 2016 and is targeted to reach 10 billion US dollars in 2018 Indonesia is investing in Vietnam in the property, cement, medicine, food and chemicals sector for a total of $ 2 billion by 2016. Vietnam is a neighboring country and Indonesia's strategic partner in the bilateral and ASEAN context. Both countries recognize the importance to explore the potential for cooperation in all areas more profitable and sustainable.

The visit of the country's top officials from Vietnam to Indonesia is not the current one. Earlier on September 14, 2011, Prime Minister (PM) Vietnam / Member of Politburo for PKV Nguyen Tan Dung made an Official Visit to Indonesia, then on 27th June 2013 Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang and First Lady Mai Tinh Hanh Conducted a State Visit to Indonesia . President Truong Tan Sang has served as Executive Committee for PKV.

Politicians Visit Due to Lack of Information Most comments on netizens question why communist leaders, ideologies banned in Indonesia, may enter this country. Not a few who opposed the visit. The conversation on Twitter is crowded after appearing a letter of invitation to the meeting of the Foreign Ministry related to Nguyen's arrival.

The planned visit by the secretary general of the Communist Party of Vietnam was also politicized by a number of circles such as the Jakarta Student Action Movement by spreading the invitation of a press conference on 22 August 2017 to respond to the arrival of Nguyen Phu Trong. They promised to hold a protest action with the theme of the action "Do not make the communist NKRI", "Reject communist Nguyen Phu Trong enter Indonesia", "Repatinate the Secretary General of Vietnam Party or overthrow Joko Widodo regime".

Later, the same organization also planned to rally to the Presidential Palace, with a grand issue that is: first, reject and overthrow the regime supporters of communist ideology. Second, save Pancasila from the regime of Joko Widodo who hosted the secretary general of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the Palace. Thirdly, do people still believe in the regime led by Joko Widodo with the PDIP host Nguyen Phu Trong, secretary general of the Communist Party of Vietnam ?.

Fourth, should the people question the identity of the regime? Fifth, Jokowi immediately reshuffled the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to the authors, the "unreasonable" reaction of organizations questioning the visit of the secretary-general of the Communist Party of Vietnam is clearly a politicizing effort that has the goal of creating distrust or public hostility toward the legitimate government under Jokowi and the ultimate goal of preventing or defeating Jokowi in the 2019 presidential election. An easy-to-read political maneuvering of the demands and grand issues it contains, including political maneuvers that pay little attention to the essence and significant geopolitics, geo-economic and geostrategic behind bilateral relations between Indonesia and Vietnam.

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam adheres to a party mono system, in which the PKV is the highest political entity. The secretary general of the PKV is an integral part of the existence of the state. Therefore, the Secretary General as the highest leader of the PKV has the highest authority and political power, surpassing the President and Prime Minister.

Therefore, it is only natural that Nguyen Phu Trong's visit will get a state welcome. The same is done when the Secretary General of PKV has been granted, among others, by Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Italy, India, Japan, and the United States.

The Vietnamese Communist Party (Vietnamese: Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam, abbreviated ĐCSVN) is the founding political party and the ruler of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Though actually holding power along with the Vietnam Land Front, ĐCSVN fully controls the government and controls the state, military and media centrally.

The supreme power of the Communist Party is embodied in Article 4 of the Vietnam Constitution. Currently, the party chairman is Nguyễn Phú Trọng as Secretary General of the Central Committee as well as Secretary of the Central Military Commission.

The Communist Party of Vietnam is renowned for its advocacy of a socialist market economy system. The highest institution of this party is the National Congress which is entitled to elect the members of the Central Committee. Among the congresses, the Central Committee became the supreme organ that deals with the day-to-day activities of the Communist Party.

Immediately after the congress, the Central Committee shall elect members of the Politburo and the Secretariat and appoint the Secretary-General. Among the Central Committee's sessions, the Politburo is the highest organ in charge of the Communist Party's daily activities, but can only execute decisions based on policies previously approved by the Central Committee or the National Congress. As of 2013, the 11th Politburo consists of 16 members.

Last but not least, we must believe that whoever governs Indonesia, including under the leadership of Jokowi will never and will not dare to pawn the ideology of Pancasila and NKRI for pragmatic economic interests, because Pancasila and NKRI are final and the price is dead. Excessive attitudes responding to a state visit from the leadership of a communist-run country just reflect that we ourselves are less appreciative and embarrassing of Pancasila.

We must respect and respect the people of Vietnam who believe in communist ideology as the final ideology of the country and the final price as well, as we Indonesians have sanctified Pancasila as the state ideology.

The demonstration or protest "waton suloyo or different origin" actually shows the perpetrator is embarrassing Pancasila because embodies the noble teachings of Pancasila in the wrong direction. So do not get caught up in the politicization behind this. Hopefully.
